NEW RELEASE at a special introductory price to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the release of The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths, photographer Stephen Wright has produced a special square format print to match the iconic inside cover image taken outside the Salford Lads Club.
Available as a 12" x 12", edition 500 and 20" x 20", edition 75, signed limited edition prints.
Taken in 1985, this iconic image of The Smiths was used on the cover of "The Queen Is Dead" album, The Smiths second LP release in June 1986. This image is part of The National Portrait Gallery Collection in London, The Manchester Art Gallery Collection and The Salford Art Gallery Collection. Due to this image, The Salford Lads Club has become a mecca for all Smiths fans worldwide who flock to replicate this truly iconic cover image.
